Abstract
Background: Difference of temperature between affected and nonaffected extremities is a important factor in diagnosing CRPS type I. This study was performed to reveal difference of temperature was correlated with duration of disorder.

Methods: Thirty patients with CRPS type I were studied. Difference of temperature was measured by thermography. Thirty patients were divided into three groups by duration of disorder.

Results: There was no significantly difference in absolute difference of temperature among groups. But relative difference of temperature showed statistically difference among groups.

Conclusions: Measurement of temperature by thermography may be useful in the diagnosis of CRPS, and there was correlation between injury duration and difference of temperature.
